PROGRAM OVERVIEW
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Lead Teen Counselor will work with other Leadership staff to assist the Camp K Summer Program Coordinator in the planning, facilitation, and supervision of camp program. You'll have a great opportunity to build experience managing and running Camp K’s LiT (Leaders in Training) program for teens ages 15+. The Lead Teen Counselor supervises counselors and specialized program areas, playing a key role in planning and presenting staff orientation, large group events, and special programs. You'll actively promote, encourage, and demonstrate Kid Sized Values of caring, striving, and thriving and collaborate with other Camp Leadership to identify camp needs, develop/implement successful programming, and take part in the evaluation of programs. You will reside on the premises of Camp during the summer season in the Chugach National Forrest with everyday opportunities to be off the grid, experience wildlife, and take in the epic beauty right outside your cabin door! .
