Location: Prudhoe Bay, AK
Position: Full-Time, Rotational Schedule (3 weeks on, 3 weeks off)

What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare & Cook: As the Camp First Cook, you will prepare a variety of meals, from simple breakfasts to more complex dinners, ensuring quality and nutritional value for our hardworking team and clients (or guests). 
  • Maintain a Clean and Organized Kitchen: You will be responsible for keeping the kitchen spotless, from dishwashing to organizing supplies and ensuring that food safety protocols are always followed.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Head Chef, Sous Chefs, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations. You will also assist with managing kitchen inventory, including ordering food supplies and keeping track of deliveries.
  • Customer Service: Positively interact with various crews, clients (or guests, whichever you use above) and people from all over the world, providing quality customer service through great food and a great attitude (or something along these lines).
  • Safety First: Strictly adhere to all food safety standards and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe cooking environment.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

  • Experience & Training: We welcome all levels of experience! Whether you're just starting your culinary journey, or you have experience as a cook or prep cook, we’re ready to provide training for the right candidate.
  • Education/Certifications: High School Diploma or equivalent; valid Alaska Food Handler’s Card. (Must be able to complete upon hire.)
  • Skills & Qualities:
    • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with others.
    • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
    • Experience with industrial kitchen equipment is a plus.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to pass a pre-hire non-DOT drug test (7-panel) and a Fit-for-Duty exam.
