About the Role:

As a Camp Counselor for children aged 3-6 years, you will play a pivotal role in creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for our youngest campers. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and physical development. You will work closely with a team to design and implement daily schedules that include games, arts and crafts, and outdoor exploration. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring the well-being of each child, ensuring their safety, and fostering positive relationships among campers. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to a memorable and enriching camp experience that supports the growth and happiness of every child in your care.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working with young children in a camp or educational setting.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a camp counselor or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and lead daily activities that are suitable for children aged 3-6 years.
  • Supervise and ensure the safety of campers during all activities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages social interaction and teamwork.
