Role Title: Business Development Coordinator- (Hybrid)




Job Summary:  Join the Home Office Team of the number one seller of Franchise Travel in the United States for 18 years in a row, with a growing footprint in all 50 states. We’re looking for a Coordinator for our Business Development team able to multi-task and streamline processes for greater efficiencies. This role, hybrid and based in Coral Springs, FL. Headquarter office, will be responsible for providing support to ensure efficient operation within the Business Development team.  The goal is to coordinate several ongoing tasks and other special projects for the team.  It will also act as a backup for any of the BD Coaches in the different Regions as needed.     




Responsibilities:



  • Manage all requests for booking transfers from corporate number to travel advisor level for existing Cruise Planners advisors and New Franchisees.

  • Coordinate and manage master calendar for weekly educational events with supplier partners provided by Sales Team including filling all event dates as early in the year as possible, communicating with Sales on suppliers who have not secured an event date, securing meeting space, ensuring all AV equipment is ready, presentation is received, confirming their attendance at least 2 weeks in advance and rescheduling as needed.

  • Coordinate participation of suppliers in BD Group sessions and ensure all needed information is collected and is available in a timely manner including participants Bio’s, agenda topics, final presentations, zoom meeting setup.

  • Upload Star University class photos to advisors’ profile and send out pictures to those advisors who did not collect them during Star U.

  • Assist Business Development Team with new advisors who need to fast track and start the qualification and sales process immediately, for example experienced advisors who are new franchisees. Assistance includes guiding new advisors on how to make a new booking and entering information in CPMaxx and proprietary vendor software if available after initial registration.

  • Manage a business jumpstart program for current Twinkling Star advisors with the goal of providing special focus to re-engage them in selling travel. Coaching calls and business reviews would adjust based on needs but will be like new advisor training.

  • Assist Business Development Team as a floating Business Development Coach and provide backup and assistance with Coaching Calls, Business Reviews and leading Business Development Group Sessions for all Regions as needed.

  • Assist with research and other special projects as needed.

  • Cruise Planners Updates Meeting facilitator (every Wednesday).

  • Other related duties as assigned.

Competencies:



  • Travel advisor/industry product knowledge and previous travel industry experience Must be able to manage a territory, build relationships within region and motivate others to achieve sales goals

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to multi-task in a team environment

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Teams, PowerPoint, Zoom and other travel industry software

  • Relationship management and interpersonal skills




Requirements:



  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred

  • 5+ years relevant experience




This is a hybrid role (Mondays and Fridays – remote and Tuesdays-Thursdays on-site)
