Summary of Position:
The Brand Marketing Manager for PetSafe North America will be responsible for bringing the authentic brand voice to internal and external teams within the US and Canada, developing actionable brand strategies to successfully execute the global marketing plan. The Brand Marketing Manager will be a strategic partner for the sales and category teams as they develop an integrated marketing calendar and execute their marketing plans, with the support of the digital and creative production teams. The Brand Marketing Manager will be a passionate steward and gatekeeper for the PetSafe brand, ensuring that all assets reflect the equity and essence of the brand across all international markets to drive overall brand awareness and revenue for PetSafe.
Responsibilities:
Establish, communicate and execute the connection between the global brand strategy and the addressable US and Canadian markets, defining the products, channels, and brand experience needed to drive growth.
Develop and implement an integrated, annual marketing calendar for the US and Canada by leveraging the brand strategies and assets to support the tactics for increased market and revenue growth.
Lead execution of marketing efforts to ensure brand integrity on the retail shelf, digital and physical, is representative of authentic brand experience in US and Canada.
Communicate marketing objectives of promotions, new product launches, marketing campaigns, sponsorships, and point-of-sale projects into supporting business objectives and channel strategy for US and Canada
Write project briefs and manage Jira ticketing process to ensure market needs and deliverables are effectively communicated for US and Canada brand projects and strategic objectives
Direct and manage external PR agency and all media outreach and industry opportunities for US and Canada
Edit, approve and support content development and digital marketing efforts for US and Canada
Develop a close partnership with the US and Canadian sales teams and key retail partners to gain insights that can be leveraged to gain an advantage in the market and expand doors
Partner with brand marketing research to understand and translate competitor landscapes, channel requirements, marketing strategies, and consumer insights for US and Canada into actionable brand plans with clear business objectives
Oversee photo and video shoots for localized assets in collaboration with internal and external resources; review and approve scripts and talent to ensure output meets the brief and the needs of the US and Canada markets
Establish and manage the marketing budget established for US and Canada
Qualifications:
Customer-centric
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Management or related field
5+ years of brand and/or marketing experience
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Action-oriented with a drive toward fiscal responsibility
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with internal stakeholders, external vendors and customers
Experience in Brand Development and Management
