Your Opportunity at Arc'teryx:

As the Brand Communications Specialist – EMEA, you will coordinate all brand communications activities for EMEA with a specific focus on PR and influencer strategies for the region. In this role you will identify external opportunities to tell our most impactful brand stories. You expertly craft communications and messaging to support the rapid growth of the business. You lead the charge for communications in the region, support our athlete and ambassador storytelling, produce press kits, oversee media events, and provide reports to relevant stakeholders. You work collaboratively with the Brand Communications and other Marketing teams as well as our external agencies to deliver on our regional communications strategy.

If you were the Brand Communications Specialist – EMEA now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
  • Drafting compelling narratives and press materials relevant to design, athletes, experiences, circularity, and company news
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders from Europe and HQ to evolve and execute on 360° communications strategy
  • Leading press planning for seasonal products, seeding, events, etc
  • Forecasting and delivering product seeding needs for the relevant markets
  • Evaluating opportunities for partnerships, awards and advertising on an on-going basis
  • Supporting athletes’ and ambassadors’ PR efforts
  • Planning and representing Arc’teryx at media events
  • Supporting Brand Communications team with tactical support as needed
  • Coordinating and localising brand assets, including production and translation
  • Managing assigned PR agencies and related budgets
  • Monitoring, analysing and communicating PR results on a quarterly basis
  • Developing and providing reports to relevant stakeholders


Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:
  • Evaluating and improving our PR representation across our markets
  • Assisting in the scout and onboarding of PR contractors/ agencies in new markets


Are you our next Brand Communications Specialist – EMEA ?
  • You have a bachelor's degree in the field of communications, marketing, adverting or a related discipline with 3+ years Public Relations and Marketing experience (in house or agency)
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English. A second European language is very appreciated
  • You have a strong understanding of the European media landscape and a keen eye for emerging media and digital social trends
  • You have a track record in working consumer-centric industry, preferably with lifestyle and cultural brands
  • You understand the outdoor markets in Europe and their media specificities
  • Ability to negotiate while working within a multi-national and multi-cultural environment
  • You have an enthusiastic approach to evolving and improving existing brand awareness strategies
  • You seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
  • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
  • You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
  • Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it

€54,000 - €60,000 a year
A reasonable estimate of the pay range is 54 000€ - 60 000€ at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training.

Please note that the range details above reflect the base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program and benefits that we offer.
