Behavioral Health Therapist

An incredible opportunity has presented itself for a Behavioral Health Therapist at Black River Memorial Hospital (BRMH).  The Behavioral Health Therapist provides comprehensive behavioral health services to Black River Healthcare Clinic patients. They work with a broad patient population to assess and decide the best course of treatment based on current clinical research in the social work field. This opportunity is:

Essential Duties:

• Performs assessments to evaluate mental health and emotional well-being utilizing the DSM criteria for treatment planning.  
• Determines the level of mental health treatment needed for each patient based on assessment and diagnosis of behavioral, mental health, and emotional disorders.  Involves other professionals when needed.
• Formulates and implements individualized, patient-centered treatment plans; and provides appropriate interventions to patients and their families.  
• Documents in the electronic health record, services provided, treatment plans, and progress reports consistent with documentation guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree required
• Must be a Licensed Mental Health Counselor 
• Must have a State of Wisconsin Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
• After obtaining such a degree has performed 2 years of clinical supervised experience in mental health counseling.
