As an Assistant Cruise Director you will partner with the Cruise Director to oversee the daily operation of all entertainment and adult/family programming. You will provide the master entertainment schedule and oversee ship-wide guest communication and collateral while partnering with onboard leaders.

This is a SHIPBOARD role.

Minimum of five years experience in a leadership role
Minimum five years experience working within a position that focuses on hosting experience, stage experience and public speaking skills
Previous ship operations experience in role of Cruise Director, Assistant Cruise Director or similar
5+ years of experience leading and motivating a team
Good understanding and respect for Entertainers
Look for Guest interactions while displaying boundless amounts of enthusiasm
Relate well to audiences of all ages and demographics while offering a passion for engaging an audience in entertaining program and event
Microphone skills, team skills, detailed, flexible, and committed to Guest Satisfaction
Maintain performance quality and the ability to perform rehearsed roles, including scripts
Perform in environments that have pyrotechnics, chemical smoke, haze, fog, dry ice, and other special effects
Be prepared to cover for Cruise Director in all aspects of this position
