After School Camp Counselor/Floater

We are seeking a After School Camp Counselor who is reliable, energetic and has experience with before and after-school programs as well as summer camps! The person in this position is responsible for the supervision and care for school age students enrolled in our Summer Program, implementing fun and interesting curriculum & activities for the kids while ensuring company policies and licensing standards are maintained.

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent;


• Be 21 years or older;


• Able to drive a mini bus for transporting;


• CPR and First Aid Certifications (or willing to obtain);


• 2 years of experience working with children 5 to 12 years old;


• Willingness to obtain Commercial Driver's License;

Preferred

• Minimum of 2 years Early Childhood Experience

Work Environment

• Must be able to adapt and manage a continuously changing, fast-paced environment, and make the childrens needs their primary focus.


• Must be able to fully engage in physical activity. Must be able to kneel, stoop, squat, and stand for a long time, and demonstrate and engage in activities like jumping, dancing, walking, and running.


• Must be able to attend 2-3 field trips a week during summer


• Be able to lift up to 40 pounds.


• Must be able to see and hear well enough to monitor classrooms and playgrounds to keep children safe at all times.
