POSITION SUMMARY/CLASS DESCRIPTION

SALARY:  
Minimum Wage to $18 per hour

DESCRIPTION:
Looking for a fun, active, outdoor job this summer? Camp counselors assist with the instruction and supervision of duties in highly specialized skills area for adventure and outdoor camps. Camp Counselors are selected for their enthusiasm, talent and experiences working with children and adventure activities. Participants engage in archery, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, camping, fishing, biking, rock climbing (indoors and outdoors), nature and/or other outdoor adventure pursuits.

RATE OF PAY: 
Salary commensurate with experience.

Contingent: 
Level I: Minimum Wage to $16.00 /hour (Paraprofessional)
Level II: $16.00 - $18.00 /hour (Paraprofessional)

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

EDUCATION:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum - currently attending high school.

EXPERIENCE:
Level I:  Some background working with children helpful.
Level II: Knowledge of skills specific to the position, experience teaching these skills and/or leading children's activities, CPR certification preferred.
