We are looking for a proactive, client-focused, and communicative Account Manager to join our digital media team. You will be the lead point of contact for our clients, with the goal of ensuring great customer success from the executed contract through post-delivery communications.  You will also manage campaigns and orders, while striving to be a strategic partner for our clients by advocating for the clients and presenting innovative ideas to help drive a program’s success.

You will ensure the program goals can be achieved successfully and monitor program progress along the way.  You will work closely with internal and external clients to remove roadblocks throughout the life cycle of the program.

The ideal candidate has a solid foundation and understanding of digital products, including display ads, e-mail, re-targeting, video, and social media. In this role, you will need to conceptually understand the technical side of digital products and be able to communicate effectively to sales, vendors, customers, and other internal and external teams. An analytical and naturally curious mind is a core competency of this exciting role. 

Ensuring customer success starts with verifying accuracy of custom or complex proposals to ensure that they can be delivered effectively and the measurement of success, as desired and understood by the customer and sales manager, can be achieved. You will ensure not only that the entire order is delivered with quality, on-time, and on-budget, but that campaign performance is on-track to achieve or exceed campaign goals and will work closely with the campaign manager to adjust as needed. 

This role will split their time between our Rutherford, New Jersey office (1 day) and working remote (4 days). Flexibility is provided. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with the account’s stakeholders
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of the programs purchased
  • Clearly communicate the progress of each program to internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare reports or interpret metric reports for program KPIs
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalation as necessary
  • Manage program budgets and forecasted expenses
  • Mange post IO campaign execution
  • Serve as the day-to-day contact for clients during assets gathering, campaign setup, launch, execution, optimization and reporting
  • Work closely with the CM, and Email and Newsletter operations teams to make sure key milestones are being met
  • Serve as lead to troubleshoot any campaign issues.  Work with other teams across the organization as needed to correct campaign execution problems
  • Provide and communicate to sales and clients upsell and renewal recommendations, based on continually monitoring and analyzing campaigns

What You Have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years of experience in digital media planning and account management
  • Experience building scalable digital advertising solutions leveraging first party data and third-party data solutions 
  • Proven track record in building digital content marketing solutions 
  • Strong analytical, data, and social media skills 
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to present numerical data effectively 
  • Ability to facilitate discussions, progress effectively, and manage the audience 
  • A team player attitude
  • High level of detail and accuracy under pressure 
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems
  • Kean accountability and leadership skills
