DKY, a Minneapolis-based marketing and advertising agency, is seeking a full-time Account Director to lead client relationships and campaigns in the outdoor industry. What You'll Do:
Client Service
- Serve as the primary client contact, building strong, lasting relationships based on trust and partnership
- Engage with clients on all aspects of their business and marketing needs, providing thought leadership and strategic guidance
- Understand clients' business, products, and goals, offering long- and short-term strategic solutions
- Coordinate between Strategy, Creative, and Media teams to develop and implement campaigns
- Advocate for the client’s needs within the agency, ensuring quality work that is delivered on time and on budget
- Identify and promote agency expertise to drive additional value for clients
Account Management
- Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies, campaigns, and initiatives
- Collaborate with the Account and Project Management teams to meet client objectives and manage project priorities
- Oversee the creative development and production process to ensure brand standards and project goals are met
- Review work for quality and accuracy, ensuring final approvals before sharing with clients
- Manage vendor relationships, review bids, and oversee project execution
- Continuously seek opportunities for workflow and process improvements
What You Bring:
- 10+ years of account management experience in a marketing/advertising agency
- Experience in B2C marketing; Outdoor category preferred but not required
- Expertise in developing marketing strategies and leading multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously
Compensation & Benefits:

Salary: Based on experience and qualifications
