DKY, a Minneapolis-based marketing and advertising agency, is seeking a full-time Account Director to lead client relationships and campaigns in the outdoor industry. What You'll Do:


Client Service



  • Serve as the primary client contact, building strong, lasting relationships based on trust and partnership

  • Engage with clients on all aspects of their business and marketing needs, providing thought leadership and strategic guidance

  • Understand clients' business, products, and goals, offering long- and short-term strategic solutions

  • Coordinate between Strategy, Creative, and Media teams to develop and implement campaigns

  • Advocate for the client’s needs within the agency, ensuring quality work that is delivered on time and on budget

  • Identify and promote agency expertise to drive additional value for clients


Account Management



  • Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies, campaigns, and initiatives

  • Collaborate with the Account and Project Management teams to meet client objectives and manage project priorities

  • Oversee the creative development and production process to ensure brand standards and project goals are met

  • Review work for quality and accuracy, ensuring final approvals before sharing with clients

  • Manage vendor relationships, review bids, and oversee project execution

  • Continuously seek opportunities for workflow and process improvements


 


What You Bring:



  • 10+ years of account management experience in a marketing/advertising agency

  • Experience in B2C marketing; Outdoor category preferred but not required

  • Expertise in developing marketing strategies and leading multi-disciplinary teams

  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills

  • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously


 


Compensation & Benefits:



  • Salary: Based on experience and qualifications

  • Medical Insurance: HealthPartners (75% of premium paid by DKY for employees and dependents)

  • HSA Contributions: $1,750 for individuals or $3,500 for families (per year)

  • Dental, Vision, Disability, and Life Insurance: 100% paid by DKY

  • Paid Time Off: PTO, 8 paid holidays

  • 401k: After one year of service, 4% match with employee contribution of 5%
