Position Highlights The Multnomah County Circuit Court is hiring a High-Volume Court Specialist (Court Operations Specialist). In this role… Along with your teammates you will perform a variety of specialized, technical, and complex clerical work related to court operations within the high-volume clerks (HVC) unit.

    You will help manage the central docketing processes among the parties within the high-volume case types by creating, maintaining, distributing, and posting calendars. You will assist in maintaining and managing the department’s SharePoint page, repository for business processes, policies, HVC Webex meetings, and various Engage/Infax boards.

    Additionally, this position is part of the department’s leadership structure in that you are expected to train and advise courtroom clerks within the HVC unit, document and evaluate staff performance in conjunction with the department’s leads and supervisor, and suggest recommendations for improvement in department case processes.

    You are also expected to identify and resolve complex problems, complaints, and inconsistencies. You will regularly exercise independent judgment and discretion when deciding which applicable guidelines apply to the situation you are faced with. As with any position, assigned tasks may be changed to accommodate workload and organizational needs.
