At the Office of Developmental Disabilities Services (ODDS), we work to make this a reality every day. We are seeking a Quality Improvement Analyst who thrives as a member of a team and is a self-starter who can support individuals who

    • developmental disabilities and their families to tell their story while advocating for policy change.

    Summary of Duties The Office of Developmental Disabilities Services (ODDS) is an office within the Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS). ODDS provides new opportunities to link services for the growing number of Oregonians who have intellectual or other developmental disabilities. The goal of ODDS is to help individuals with intellectual or other developmental disabilities remain as independent as possible.

    Programs include employment, residential services, services coordination, program development, licensing and quality of care initiatives. Over 22,000 Oregonians are receiving one or more of these services in various programs located throughout the State. As a Quality Improvement Analyst, you will: Evaluate I/DD-funded programs through policy and data analysis to ensure effectiveness and compliance with federal and state laws, Medicaid

    requirements:

    • Monitor, track, and report on quality improvement metrics using data from sources such as QAFR, CAM, Licensing, NCI, ASPEN, and other state and federal systems.
    • Support data-driven decision-making by conducting special studies, analyzing trends, and providing technical assistance to inform policy development.
    • Recommend and assist in implementing quality improvement strategies based on performance data and stakeholder input.
    • Collaborate with ODHS partners, committees, and cross-departmental subject matter experts to gather insights and develop tools, materials, and instructional presentations.
    • Provide technical assistance to internal and external partners to support quality improvement initiatives.
    • Report findings and recommendations to leadership and contribute to strategic planning efforts.

    This position reports to the Quality Improvement Manager at the Office of Developmental Disabilities Services. Minimum

    Qualifications:

    Seven years of

    experience:

    coordinating or administering a program.

    Education:

    in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, human or social services, or a similar degree will substitute for

    experience:

    based on the following: Associate’s degree in any of the listed areas substitutes for 18 months of

    Bachelor's degree in any of the listed areas substitutes for three (3) years of

    Master's degree in any of the listed areas substitutes for four (4) years of

    Working Conditions Your typical work schedule will be Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST). Your work will have a Remote work format but may require you to report to the Salem office as needed for on-site work. This position may involve travel throughout the state and may require standing for extended periods while delivering presentations.
