Location: Nederland, Colorado Eldora is the backyard winter mountain playground for Greater Denver, Boulder County, and Colorado's northern Front Range. Eldora is located just outside of the charming mountain town of Nederland, Colorado,

20 miles west of Boulder and less than 50 miles from downtown Denver. Eldora strives to deliver Colorado’s Front Range the most memorable outdoor adventures to locals and out-of-town visitors. Eldora Mountain Resort employs up to 700 employees at peak season and has 680 acres of lift-accessible terrain for skiing and snowboarding, including a Woodward Mountain Park

- Provide direct support for Eldora’s waste reduction goals by emptying and sorting base area trash, compost and recycling.
Focus on proper sorting to ensure compost and recycle streams are clean.
- Maintain Pour-Away liquid receptacles at sorting stations by regularly emptying and replacing enzyme tabs.
- Maintain Terracycle snack wrapper containers at sorting stations by regularly emptying and mailing full boxes back for processing.
Advance Eldora’s recycle programs by assisting Food & Beverage, SRS and Base Operations teams. Emptying & sorting food scrap compost containers behind kitchen line & prep areas. Supply Terracycle disposable glove boxes, replace as needed & mail full boxes back for processing Maintain sorting station cleanliness.
- Provide transport of Ned House recycling to ensure proper processing, as needed.
- Participate in monthly sustainability “Play Forever” team meetings, when possible.
- Ensure lodge cleanliness by pre-bussing tables and providing additional guest service, as needed.
- Provide friendly and helpful interactions with resort guests and serve as a sustainability and conservation ambassador.
- Provide support to resort staff to enable departments to reach waste diversion goals for the season.
- Support the integration of companywide sustainability “Play Forever” initiative by serving as a knowledge resource and conservation role model.
- Adheres to all company safety policies and procedures, actively contributing to a safe working environment for self, coworkers, and guests.
All employees are expected to support Eldora’s corporate responsibility commitment to protect the environment by participating in our Sustainable Transportation Program. This includes choosing alternative transportation, carpooling, using the employee shuttle, and avoiding onsite parking on weekends and peak days.
