This is a seasonal opportunity that serves as an extension of the Communications team for the summer camp sessions. This role is responsible for daily content capture across all camp programming – including but not limited to photography, video, and sound bites from campers, volunteers, seasonal and full-time team. Additionally, this position acts as a real-time scribe, grabbing and preserving stories all season long to support year-round organizational messaging. Individuals will excel at making connections, building narratives, organizing content effectively, and providing a space for peers to relay camp magic moments.
Team Overview:
This role is connected to the Communications full-time team and provided the opportunity to integrate into bigger strategy. Getting unique exposure behind the scenes to FHF communications, best practices, and plan while applying learnings in real time.
Responsibilities:
Attend Seasonal Staff Training (May 19-29, 2026)
Capture camp moments in real time and keep stories organized for daily use and future storytelling.
Communicate with full-time marketing and program staff to plan for daily content capture opportunities and needs
Intentionally participate in camp activities to ensure holistic coverage of campers and programs
Serve as an on-site point of contact for fellow seasonal staff and volunteers to share camper moments and stories.
Conduct informal interviews with staff and volunteers to better understand camp experiences and support with content capture.
Post social stories daily.
Requirements
Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience
Experience with photography
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
Ability to manage tasks and workload in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong ability to manage time and organize projects independently

TikTok, Instagram reels experience
Experience managing social media accounts
