Stevenson School is a PK-12 co-educational, college-preparatory, boarding and day school with enrollment of 770 students on two campuses in beautiful Central Coast California. Stevenson School is seeking Trip Leaders for our Sophomore Wilderness Expedition, a 10-day backpacking course that will take place February 28 - March 9, 2025 in Henry Coe State Park. Coed crews of 8-10 students are accompanied by outdoor educators and student leaders. A front-country manager provides logistical and emergency assistance.Β
Ideal candidates will possess wilderness expertise and prior experience working with groups of teenagers. Staff training is mandatory for all trip leaders and is scheduled to take place in February. Completion of a Live Scan background check will be required. Trip leaders will be paid $210/day. Meals will be provided during training and expedition. This is a temporary role.
