This is a great position for someone interested in jump starting a career within Vail Resorts!  Reservations Vacation Coordinators are trained to be guest service experts – building the perfect vacation experience for the guests of our renowned Colorado resorts: Keystone, Breckenridge, Vail and Beaver Creek. This position works on a team located in beautiful Keystone Resort, and is a great career opportunity for the self-motivated and enthusiastic individual since you have the ability to earn commissions and incentives!  The earlier you start the higher your potential to earn more money.


 


In this fun and exciting position, the Reservations Vacation Coordinators will be on the phone providing information on all aspects of our guests’ vacation: flights and transportation from the airport if needed, lodging options and packages, discounted lift tickets, ski or snowboard lessons, equipment rentals, and recommendations for other activities and amenities for when guests arrive.  Reservation Vacation Coordinators are trained about different properties and vacation activities and have the unique opportunity to participate in property and activity site tours.  You do not need to be a ski/snowboard enthusiast for this position, but if you are, one of the many perks of this position is a free season ski pass.


 


Compensation: This position pays $8.95/hour PLUS Commission/Bonus - top performers average $13-14/hour


 


Please note: All hires will begin as a Seasonal employee. At 60 day review, employees with excellent performance and desiring to stay long term, may be considered for a limited number of Year Round positions available


 


Qualifications:



  • The ideal candidate is customer focused, able to verbally guide our guests through their travel planning.  Good communication skills (English) - required

  • Ability to communicate verbally in other languages is a plus, premium paid if determined to be fluent in a second language!

  • The ideal candidate will display A Heart for Guest Service and enjoy helping customers over the phone!  Able to work on the phone for long periods of time - required

  • Must be able to talk on the phone and work on a computer at the same time - required

  • Work on a computer with a high degree of accuracy and efficient speed – required

  • Able to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, split shifts, weekends & holidays – required

  • A positive and professional attitude - required.

  • Enthusiastic attitude of the travel industry is a plus.

  • Familiarity with Keystone, Breckenridge, Vail and Beaver Creek Resorts - preferred

  • LMS and/or Tour Partner software experience- preferred
