Peraton is seeking a highly qualified Senior Travel Coordinator in support to the upcoming LONG-RANGE ENTERPRISE INTELLIGENCE, SURVEILLANCE, AND RECONNAISSANCE ACTIVITY (LEIA) in Honolulu, HI, supporting a DoD customer.  As part of a highly talented, motivated, and high-performing team, you will support an exciting, fast-paced program with regional and global importance.  Join us and be part of the next generation of innovators as we blaze a trail forward for our Nation, industry and company.

 

Peraton will deliver a broad spectrum of Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Cyber-Defense, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C6ISR) capabilities to support SOCPAC missions and it’s AORs. Capabilities include using air, maritime, ground, and space-based platforms to meet mission needs in an ever-changing threat and technology landscape. Our team will provide support to continuously evolve and leverage the latest technologies and best practices to rapidly refresh capabilities and ensure platforms and intelligence operations are optimized to support the SOCPAC missions.

  
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Plans, leads, and manages the collaboration, coordination, and scheduling of the organization's travel needs. 
  • Manages CONUS/ OCONUS travel arrangements and claims. Ensures travel arrangements and claims meet both Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) and the organization's travel policy.
  • Prepares expense authorizations for all CONUS/ OCONUS travel and verifies funding availability and the active period of performance for all travel arrangements. 
  • Schedules hotel and flight accommodations and procures necessary documentation such as passports, visas, or other clearances. 
  • Ensures that travel needs are met within the constraints of the travel budget. 
  • Ensures travel requests and expense reports are properly approved, accurately entered and paid in a timely manner. 
  • Investigates and resolves problems associated with processing of travel requests and expense reports. 
  • Collaborates with travelers, vendors, and government staff where necessary, to rapidly resolve travel emergencies. 
  • Some positions may require working a non-traditional work schedule to support the needs of the customer.
  • Establish a travel standard operating procedure (SOP) and policy letter(s); change or modify SOPs and policy letter(s) as needed to capture best practices, increase efficiency in on-time reporting/payments and create ease-of-use or user friendly checklists for travelers and approval officials on the contract. 
  • Working with government contracting sponsor to coordinate Travel Authorization Requests (TARs) through government approved IT system for budgeting, tracking, and approvals.








Qualifications






Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelors degree and 3 years experience. 
  • Significant relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal education. 
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, execute, and deconflict complex travel plans without impact to the traveler. 
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely, submit and track visit requests, and track other traveler information as required 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to elicit detailed information from subject-matter experts (for example, applications developers), 
  • Advanced writing, grammatical and editing skills. 
  • Adept in document creation using applications such as Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint. 
  • Experience in a technical setting. 
  • Clearance: Secret

$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
