About the role

The Tour Staff Specialist is responsible for assisting the Tour Staff Manager in the management of all Tour Staff and relevant processes involved in their successful tour operation from start to finish. This included management of all admin related to Tour Staffs, and all aspects of their performance management. 

The role supports the continued push to create an overall high level of regional job satisfaction, managing the growth by sound planning on the needs and sense of affiliation with G Adventures through continued support and training as well as continuing to spread Company Culture and Core Values, connecting all Tour Staff's in the region to the G Adventures global community


What you'll be doing

  • All Tour Staff related administration, Tour Staffs profile updates, Tour Staff info. database and Tour Staff website
  • Responsible Tour Staff Payroll, Quarterly Bonus, and Tour Staff accounts process.
  • Supporting Tour Staffs, acting in coordination between Tour Staffs, local office and Base Camp team.
  • Assist in Quarter Tour Staff Performance Review, managing and reporting on Tour Staff performance, including 1 0n 1 review.
  • Responsible to provide the report of monthly departures for Tour Staff Schedule to Tour Staff Manager and tour assignment in internal system (Polaris)
  • Support Tour Staff Manager of Tour Staff recruitment process, contract signing and timely updating of all contract
  • Supporting Tour Staff Manager for Tour Staff Disciplinary action issue.
  • Assist and help manage all aspects of Tour Staff Training, Tour Staff Forum, Tour Staff Wanderers and National Geographic Journey with G Adventures training program.
  • Monitoring Tour Staff comments section on passenger evaluations and action as necessary
  • Collaborate with Tour Staff / Senior Tour Staff to ensure the Trip Note and Trip Planner are up to date including setting all necessary information for Tour Staff's tools to the Tour Staff website.
  • Coordinate and assist in ground Support for logistical issues during trips and on trip emergencies.
  • Maintain Tour Staff engagement between Tour Staffs, Local office and G Adventures global.
  • Manage Tour Staff Swag inventory
