Camp Poyntelle has been making children’s summer dreams come true since 1947. As a premier summer camp, we offer a traditional sleepaway experience filled with amazing memories, lasting friendships and nurturing and compassionate staff. We feel that camp is one of the few places a child can be their own person, without judgment or social pressure. Our intentional community is designed to allow kids to be kids, in a low key, fun and inclusive environment.
We’re currently hiring counselors for all age divisions in Sports, the Arts, Waterfront as well as General Counselors.
Our counselors live and work in the bunk with our campers and also get to experience all the great things we have to offer! Our salaries start at $2,350 for the contract (June 12th-August 15th). Room and Board are included, a $400 travel stipend is provided to make getting to camp as easy as possible, and we also offer a $500 Refer-A-Friend bonus for referring friends we hire to work at camp!
