Job Title:                            Ski Patrol Paramedic 

Type of Position:             Part-time, Seasonal

Schedule:                          May include weekends/holidays 

Pay Rate:                           Starts at $24.00/hr., based on skills and experience

Love skiing/snowboarding and want to join the Loveland Ski Patrol team?  We are looking for happy, enthusiastic, hardworking, experienced paramedics to join our team. 


Summary

Assist the Loveland Ski Patrol by providing paramedic medical coverage to guests and employees at both Loveland Basin and Loveland Valley.   Every employee is responsible for providing a positive experience for our guests and employees, with safety and fun as our top priorities.    


Essential Functions

  • Provide paramedic coverage for guests and employees, as needed
  • Evacuate injured skiers/snowboarders from mountain or base area to patrol room 
  • Mark hazardous and unsafe conditions   
  • Sweep and pre-sweep responsibilities
  • Public relations and education

Requirements

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Emergency Medical Technician – Paramedic Certification/License
  • Understanding of and compliance with Denver Metro Protocols and essential medical equipment
  • Proficient skiing/snowboarding ability as determined by the Ski Patrol Leadership Team  
  • Ability to speak, write and understand English fluently, other language fluency helpful
