TRU’s Williams Lake campus is located approximately three hours northwest of Kamloops, in the heart of the scenic Cariboo region, on T’exelcemc territory within the unceded traditional lands of the Secwepemc Nation.

The successful candidate(s) will teach ECON 1900, “Principles of Microeconomics,” during the Winter 2025 term using in-class on-campus delivery methods.  The section number is subject to change.  Additional on-campus, blended, or online sections may become available.  Semester details are as follows:

Classes run: Jan 6 to Apr 7, 2025

Exam Period: Apr 9 to Apr 23, 2025

Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada and be prepared to deliver face to face classes at the Williams Lake campus of Thompson Rivers University.  

 

•    Master's degree in Economics; PhD in Economics is strongly preferred

•    Relevant post-secondary teaching experience with evidence of strong teaching skills is preferred
