The Position
Our Sales and Customer Service Consultants support our travel agents and direct customers by providing exceptional customer service and sales expertise across multiple channels. This is a full-time permanent position, where you will The training for this position starts on the 4th of January 2022.

In support of the company mission, your goal will be to provide managerial, and operations support under the direction of the Deputy Operations Manager. On a day-to-day basis, you will handle the behind-the-scenes details in our operations department to allow our Product and Operations Managers to maintain a big picture focus. You will be trained and have managerial authority to be able to provide operational support to help Intrepid and Wildland Trekking in the absence of the Deputy Operations Manager. 


 


This is a seasonal position that operates in the Felt, Idaho. The salary for this position is $20-22/hr USD depending on experience. Flexibility is crucial in this position as you will participate in “on-call” responsibilities of the department’s emergency phone when scheduled. 


 


You will have a passion for travel and bring:   


 

  • Supervisory and facilitation experience 

  • Strong organization and communication skills 

  • Experience in assisting with new hire training  

  • Proficiency with Google Drive apps, Microsoft Office and previous experience with a CRM system 

  • Salesforce experience is highly regarded, but not essential 

  • Experience with, or willingness to learn, llama pack stock care 


 


What you need to know: 


 

  • This position requires ability to frequently lift, push and pull weights up to fifty (50) lbs, as well as frequent bending, stooping, and squatting over the course of a full work shift 

  • Physical capability to meet company and DOT driving requirements and maintain current WFR/CPR 

  • Duties require fine manual dexterity to perform basic tasks 

  • Must pass a background check 

  • A willingness to maintain a flexible schedule and work weekends and/or holidays is necessary   

  • During June-September, when you will be scheduled to work, optional housing is available. This will include a private bedroom and closet with a shared bathroom.
