About The Role
Alchemy Bicycle Co is hiring a Sales and Showroom Expert responsible for all aspects of our rider experience.  This person will be the face of Alchemy’s showroom and demo bike program. This role is ideal for passionate riders, equally well-versed in Road and Mountain Riding, with professionally developed sales acumen.  An ideal candidate will have 3+ years of technical experience in the retail bicycle industry, 2+ years of professional sales experience, a dynamic and engaging personality, a highly detail-focused mindset, and a desire to expand and grow their skills at an exciting new role at an emerging brand.  

Responsibilities
  • Control and maintain a professional and welcoming showroom
  • Take responsibility for Alchemy’s demo program, including scheduling, rider setup, and bike maintenance
  • Participate in and help organize community events
  • Assist customers with purchase pickups, including component operation and suspension setup
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Schedule consultations and tours with prospective customers
  • Communicate with customers to establish realistic expectations and offer support through the production process
  • Offer exemplary customer service to our current and future clients

Requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Successful experience as a sales representative, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and close rate KPI
  • A systematic and structured approach for daily task management and organization
  • Intimate knowledge of both Road and Mountain bikes and the greater cycling industry, including current trends and component specifications
  • A naturally inquisitive nature that is always excited to learn, grow, and develop
