Job Description
The Multi-Media Specialist supports the South Florida Water Management District’s Communications and Public Engagement efforts with film and video production, photography, developing and executing graphic designs, multi-media presentations and more for the agency’s public information initiatives. This position creates visual communications to convey messages in an effective and aesthetically pleasing manner.

This position requires a strong eye for documentary style filming and advanced video-editing skills. SFWMD utilizes Sony cameras, GoPro, audio equipment, Mac computers with Final Cut Pro, and the Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects. Animation/graphic design expertise is preferred. The position includes plenty of field work, including working in the heat of South Florida’s summers in wilderness environments and some filming from a helicopter, boat, vehicle and on the ground.

In addition, job duties include script writing, maintaining video equipment, researching, and implementing new technology, supporting public records requests, and supporting agency staff with video and photo requests.
