THE AREA

  • Camarillo is conveniently located halfway between Santa Barbara and LA. Camarillo is a central hub for exploring Southern California's uncrowded beaches. Nestled in the foothills of the Santa Monica Mountains in Camarillo, our 25-acre campus houses residential cottages, classrooms, fully equipped music room, gymnasium, pool, play fields, youth counseling rooms, training/conference space, a medical clinic, and administrative offices. Casa Pacifica’s beautiful rural setting is seven miles from the Pacific Ocean and midway between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara. This sunny, welcoming town is close to surfing, playing in the sand, and strolling and shopping in the harbor and is located in Ventura County. Ventura County is considered the southernmost county along the California Central Coast. There are 555,953 acres of national forest land in Ventura County. North of Highway 126, the county is mountainous and mostly uninhabited, and contains some of the most unspoiled, rugged and inaccessible wilderness remaining in southern California. Small coastal mountains rim Ventura County on its landward side. Several unique museums are based in Camarillo, including the Commemorative Air Force Southern California Wing's World War II Aviation Museum, the Western Foundation of Vertebrate Zoology, the Pleasant Valley Historical Society Museum and the Adolfo Camarillo Ranch House.
