General Summary

As the Patagonia Program Developer in our Reno Service Center, you will lead and direct projects and initiatives critical to all warehouse employees. Your leadership of cross-functional activities will support learning and development initiatives for all warehouse employees. 

In addition, you will be a professional with the functional bandwidth to support other department heads as they encounter business challenges. Additional focus areas may be material handling upgrades and other operational needs as you provide coordination on building or campus level improvements.


What You’ll Do
  • Lead and coordinate projects that impact the overall warehouse operations. Examples include: Leadership Training and Development, Performance Management, Employee Training, and Material Handling Upgrades.
  • Support financial planning and budgeting efforts, including CAPEX investments and monthly profit and loss statements
  • Partner with leadership peers to influence good change in the warehouse through proven change management and decision-making practices- inclusive feedback, market testing, and idea socialization.
  • Act as a seasonal or as needed support in short-term leadership roles to ensure a consistent employment experience for team members.
  • Develop good processes and communication with all Service Center Departments to facilitate the flow of work through related channels.
  • Be a champion for employee equity by ensuring and managing access to professional development, opportunities for promotion, and pay increases.
  • Model and lead Patagonia’s Mission around our planet and our people. Ensure your team gives balance to production needs and to actions that support our people and our planet.
  • Create strong interdepartmental partnerships to achieve critical business objectives and ensure clear and consistent communication. 
  • Work closely with IT to stay current on technological improvements while representing the business needs of the department.
  • Write and present quarterly and annual employee check-ins as part of the overall performance management process. 
  • Handle employee relations within the department and in partnership with Human Resources partners.

Experience You Bring
  • 5+ years of warehouse operations experience.
  • 3+ years of experience leading large cross functional teams and projects in a progressive and collaborative work environment.
  • Deep understanding of supply chain operations ideally within a multi-channel retailer supporting customer and vendor needs through operations excellence.  
  • Ability to research and connect with external vendors and 3rd Party providers.
  • Previous experience managing projects or departments with a minimum of $2M annual spend.
  • Skilled at customer order systems, warehouse management programs, or similar tech applications.
  • Advanced system skills - Microsoft Teams, Sharepoint, OneNote, Outlook, Excel, PowerBI.
  • Budgeting and expense management experience.
  • Project and program management experience.
  • Must be able to juggle multiple tasks and maintain a composed and professional demeanor within a flexible and interruptive work environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail so no customer “falls through the cracks”.
  • Must be willing to be trained in a variety of new skills as needed.
  • Spanish language familiarity a plus.

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to work safely in a warehouse environment with occasional light lifting up to 35lbs
  • Ability to work seated or standing for multiple hours
  • Ability to look at a computer screen for extended periods of time
  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time

Compensation:
 

Pay range: $84,191 - $126,287 

Hiring range: $100K - $115K
