Overview

 

 

Provide customer support for the online booking tools and other corporate travel software offered by Global Travel Collection.   This role faces both internally, with our agents and independent contractors, and externally, with our corporate clients. A successful candidate would have great customer service skills, have a working knowledge of online booking tools, and the desire/ability to solve problems daily.

 

 

The salary range on this job posting/advertising has been developed to give applicants a wide range to comply with pay transparency laws in all states and geographical areas.  Many factors, such as years of experience, geographical location, budget etc. are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.  The salary range posted represents the pay range for U.S. candidates.  If the job posting indicates that the role is available for international candidate consideration, the salary range will be based on the local market for the country where the candidate would be working.

 

 

This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company’s financial goal achievement and individual performance.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provides support of corporate online booking tools, such as Concur, Certify, and GetThere to meet client needs.
  • Assist with implementations
  • Monitor the Help Desk calls and emails. This includes picking up tasks, completing them, and communicating their completion as needed.
  • Configure user and company account
  • Create/manage travel policies, rule classes, search options, client rates and discounts
  • Present trainings and demonstrations in a professional manner.
  • Customize/format webpages for new clients
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years’ experience with Concur Travel corporate online booking software preferred, with the ability to learn other tools such as Certify and GetThere.
  • Working knowledge of GDS systems. (Sabre knowledge preferred)
  • Exceptional customer service skills required along with strong business communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to conduct training in both virtual and in-person environments if needed.
  • Detailed oriented while coordinating and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Previous travel agency experience preferred.
  • Agent experience a plus but not required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
