POSITION TITLE: Presenter & Content Producer

LOCATION: onsite at our Park City, Utah headquarters office
PAY GRADE: Salary
COMPENSATION RANGE: $60,000-$70,000
JOB OVERVIEW:
The Presenter & Content Producer is primarily responsible for content creation and production-related tasks associated with the Backcountry brand marketing channels. This entails being a presenter/on-camera talent in Backcountry content in accordance with their yearly deliverables. The ideal candidate will be the face of the Backcountry brand and be responsible for various content-related processes. These will include operating as video talent for short and long form, social media, and product-testing videos. The Presenter & Content Producer will also be responsible for post-production copywriting tasks, preparing talking points for videos, and content creation across Backcountry’s channels. This candidate should be comfortable and confident on camera, enthusiastic about the Backcountry brand, and willing to contribute to content daily, whether shooting, writing, or completing other production-related work.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as on-camera talent for relevant video shoots. This includes (but is not limited to); in-studio educational content, on-location content, advertisements and social media content.
- Collaborate with Director of Content and Sr Content Manager to manage overall pre-production and post-production content workload.
- Coordinate with Sr Content Manager to maintain a calendar that balances production tasks with personal projects.
- Working with Content Managers and other Content team members on various production tasks.
- Producing talking points and outlines for video shoots.
- Working with the Studio Merchandising Coordinator to keep products organized during video shoots.
- Collaborating with Owned Brands on Backcountry product testing and designing.
- Keeping the monthly content plan on track.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- 3+ years of experience in the outdoor industry.
- Understanding of video, podcast, and blog content.
- Proven knowledge of outdoor apparel, gear, and their technical features.
- Marketing content experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with frequent posting dates.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel.
- Interest and understanding of the Backcountry Brand aesthetic and customer.
- Some form of video production experience preferred. #LI-SE1 #BHP
