Job Description:

Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Supervise a group of 15 - 21 campers.Β 
  • Assist with and participate in camp activities.
  • Interpret safety and health regulations to his/her group such as emergency procedures to guide his/her campers in participation in group, unit, and camp-wide activities.
  • Recognize and respond to opportunities for problem-solving in the group.
  • Develop opportunities for interaction between campers and staff.
  • Provide opportunities for the group so that each camper experiences success.Β 
  • Set a good example for campers and others, including cleanliness, punctuality, sharing clean-up and chores, sportsmanship, and table manners.
  • Report any concerns or issues to a coordinator.
  • Follow camp rules and regulations pertaining to smoking, use of alcoholic beverages, and use of drugs.

Minimum qualifications

  • Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
  • Have experience caring for children.
  • Must be available for all 9 weeks of camp plus a week of camp training; 5/27/2025 – 8/1/25.
  • Work Monday to Friday, 35 – 40 hours a week
