Requirements:

To be seriously considered for this role, you’ll need to have:

  • EducationGraduate of a physician assistant training program accredited by the ARC-PA. OR

    Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program and successful passing of a national licensing examination and/or the National Commission on Certification of Family Nurse Practitioners

  • Experience: 2 years of experience as an APP in Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care
  • Licenses/Certification: The Physician Assistant (PA) will maintain certification in good standing with the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

          The Nurse Practitioner (NP) will maintain licensure in good standing with the Colorado Board of Nursing. 

           ACLS, PALS, BLS. ATLS will be completed within one year of hire

Responsibilities:

We are committed to improving the health of our community by delivering exceptional care and services.  As part of the team at Urgent Care you will:

  • The APP shall make a chart note for every patient for whom the APP performs any act defined as the practice of medicine in § 12-36-106(1), C.R.S. When an APP consults with any physician about a patient, the APP shall document in the chart note the name of the physician consulted and the date of the consultation
  • Demonstrates the ability to take responsibility and ownership for the outcome of all actions and decisions.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work with others toward a shared purpose or goal by collaborating, partnering, or cooperating with others.

Physical Requirements:

Occasionally (1-33%) Sitting, crouching/squatting, stooping

Frequently (34-66%) Standing, walking, change position, reaching, reach across midline, handling, pinching, stairs, lifting (0-20 lbs), carrying (0-20 lbs), pushing/pulling (20-50 lbs)

Continuously (37-100%) - Must be able to see clearly with corrective eye wear, must be able to hear clearly with assistance

Compensation: PA: $52.79 - $63.75/hr, depending on experience

NP: $51.11 - $61.33/hour DOE
