On-Call Snow Plow Operator

We are seeking dedicated Snow Plow Operators to join our team on a seasonal, on-call basis to assist with snow plowing operations for our parking facility. The ideal candidates will be responsible for operating snow plowing equipment to clear snow from designated areas effectively and safely on an on-call basis between mid-November and mid-April.

Pay Rate: $16 /hour

Weekly Schedule:  

• On-Call – schedules will vary dependent on winter weather 

Key Responsibilities of Snow Plow Operators:

• Perform a variety of tasks to ensure the completion of snow removal at the parking facility
• Operate snow plow equipment including plow truck, bobcat, salter, blower and shovels
• Clear snow using safe and effective techniques
• Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly to changing weather patterns
• Log record of hours and work completed on a snow log

Knowledge, Skills, & Experience of Snow Plow Operators:

• High school education or equivalent
• Previous experience in snow removal operations preferred
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions
• Willingness to work various shifts
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork abilities
• Ability to verbally communicate clearly in the English language
