We are seeking a National Sales Director who will lead the specialty channel for Stanley. This individual will be responsible for setting the strategic vision, driving profitable sales growth, and building and leading a team of specialty sales representatives and independent agents.
You will be responsible for:
- Setting the strategy and roadmap to grow the business within the specialty channel
- Achieving sales goals, margin targets, and sell-through for the accounts across the portfolio and categories.
- Taking ownership for negotiation of account terms and conditions within brand and category.
- Working closely with the Commercial Team to develop a Go-To-Market strategy for the channel
- Developing Channel plans for both existing channels and future channel opportunities within specialty
- Identifying opportunities to improve brand presence in stores and online.
- Driving sell-through within our Stanley partners
- Ensuring we are exploring opportunities with the right partners within the identified where-to-play channels
- Ensuring accurate and timely forecasting for the channel, and drive collaboration with demand and supply planning teams
- Delivering results while building cross-functional relationships and being a great teammate.
- Working closely with the Sales Operations team to build systems and processes to support the channel
About You:

Knowledge & Skills you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- Minimum 10 years of relevant sales experience leading teams and working with the specialty channel. Managing independent agencies is a plus.
- Proven track record managing complex customers across multiple channels
- Excellent negotiator and relationship builder.
- Excellent communicator and listener.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be able to present data in an organized manner

The base pay range for this position is for a successful candidate within the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on multiple factors, such as work location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience.
