What You'll Do:
- Responsible for merchandising the site to deliver a compelling product experience and collection point of view, through simple, intuitive category navigation and clear, accurate product details
- Manage all seasonal catalog product data by ensuring its accuracy, and timeliness, based on seasonal assortment needs
- Manage all "back-end" system processes for setting up product to go live within the online store, including tracking of product data workflow, images, and all other online dependent attribute status
- Ensure products are launched correctly and on time, with appropriate information, scheduling, and categorization
- Create and drive quality checks for online products, including images, categorization, pricing and availability to optimize customer journey on all channels
- Partner with Marketing and Merchandising to identify key product stories and ideas for the season, to develop inspirational site and email storytelling, that supports overall business objectives and meets/exceeds customer expectations
- Partner with the Ecommerce Sales Planner + Site Experience Manager to understand product performance as a data point in the development of the product assortment, as well as analyzing of the Customer journey and experience.
- Work collaboratively with the rest of the Ecommerce team to understand weekly business results, to develop seasonal strategies, and to ensure financial targets are achieved
Letβs Talk About You:
- Bachelorβs Degree with an emphasis in merchandising preferred
- 1-3 yearsβ Ecommerce site experience. Prior experience in the outdoor industry preferred but not required
- A high energy, positive attitude with the drive and motivation to constantly be improving the Smith Optics and Suncloud online experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong attention to both big and little details with an ability to respond to last minute requests and adapt to changes in business trend
- Ability to prioritize and handle multi-tasks and be extremely organized
- Understanding of web analytics and metrics
