The ideal candidate is highly responsible, organized, flexible and can maintain a strict code of confidentiality. You have a proven skill for working well with people, and the desire to jump in and contribute in an agile, fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for assisting in all functional areas of human resources.
Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
· Responsibility for various aspects of human resources, including processing payroll, maintaining time and attendance records, ensuring compliance with employment laws, administering benefits, and supporting employee relations.
· Investigate and address employee complaints and conduct internal investigations.
· Provide coaching/counseling advice to managers and employees on company employee relations best practices, policies, programs, and processes.
· Assists HR team in performing routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, onboarding/offboarding, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; workers compensation; training and development.
Requirements and skills:
(R) Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field required.
(R) 2+ years human resource experience, preferably in payroll and benefits.
(R) Expert MS office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) with the ability to learn new applications quickly.
(R) Proficiency with, or the ability to quickly learn, the organizations HRIS, payroll, time keeping and talent management systems.
(R) Knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines. Knowledge of federal and state employment, payroll, and benefit laws.
