Job Description

Come and join our team where everyday is a holiday.  Live and work local! 

We have Part Time (Min hours 20 per week) and Casual opportunities available, to support the team as we enter into our busy summer and holiday period!  Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager.  You will work with the Housekeeping team, to ensure the highest possible standards and presentation of accommodation at Treasure Island Resort.  You will complete a range of tasks relating to park housekeeping, including:

  • General cleaning of cabins, villas and facilities
  • Dispose of rubbish
  • Cleaning of bathrooms and all mirrors
  • Changing of linen and bedding
  • Vacuuming, mopping and sweeping of outdoor and indoor areas
  • Spot cleaning
  • The cleaning of furnishings and fittings
  • Completing room checklists
  • Advising of any maintenance or WHS issues

The successful candidate must have the flexibility to work some weekends and public holidays.

What you’ll bring:  

  • Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping experience is preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of basic hygiene requirements and safe working procedures
  • Have an ability to work unsupervised with a "hands on" approach
  • A suitable level of fitness with a flexible approach to workloads and a can do attitude (this is a physically demanding role).
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a team or autonomously;
