Summary:

As a Growth Marketing Intern at Surfline, you will work with our Growth Marketing team to help optimize our marketing channels. You will support the team through providing data and analysis required to deliver a carefully curated and enhanced customer experience. You'll work closely with our Growth Marketing Lead to drive growth, engagement, and reduce churn. 

Under Surfline’s “Work from Anywhere” policy, this position may be performed on a full-time remote basis from a variety of locations in the US, or from the Huntington Beach, CA headquarters.

What You'll Do:

  • Gather data and insights from our growth marketing channels (email, push notifications, in-product messages, and landing pages).
  • Perform market research to identify new and innovative ways to optimize our growth marketing channels. 
  • Assist the Growth Marketing team in building and executing campaigns.
  • Develop benchmarks for our channels and present recommendations to the Growth Marketing team.

What You'll Learn:

  • Analytics: How to interpret and leverage data to measure channel performance with analytics softwares.
  • Campaign Strategy: Learn how a global marketing team develops and executes cross-channel marketing campaigns that support broader business initiatives.
  • Campaign Execution: Learn how to build campaigns using email, push notifications, in-product messages, and landing pages.
  • Professional communication skills: Experience working on a large and collaborative team that spans across marketing, product, content, forecast, and more.

  • Current college student pursuing a degree in business and-or marketing. 
  • Professional communication skills, self-motivation, organization, attentive to details.

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.  
  • Ability to work well within a team and eager to take initiative.  
  • Ability to dream big and think outside of the box.

You May Also Have: 

  • Previous experience in marketing, or other business verticals.  
  • Experience working in the surf-outdoor industry.
