Job Description

Are you an experienced, Handyperson, with a passion to add value? You'll be part of a hard working small Team reporting into the property Maintenance Supervisor. Your problem solving skills and existing maintenance skills will help you in this full-time role. You'll have flexibility to work on weekends as required.

What you’ll do:

  • Incidental maintenance repairs in rooms, amenities and other facilities.
  • Incidental customer service assistance with in-room repairs.
  • Assist with building projects, major repairs, renovations, mechanical repairs - painting, basic plumbing or replacing hardware.
  • Maintenance of grounds and gardens

What you’ll bring:

  • A reputation for providing excellent customer service, engaging in great conversations with our guests 
  • Good time management and an eye for detail  
  • Medium rigid truck licence required
  • An ability to follow direction related to daily tasks and expectations 
  • Demonstrable experience in property maintenance
  • Experience with power tools
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • Knowledge and understanding of safe working procedures
  • Have an ability to work unsupervised with a "hands on" work history
  • Be hardworking, energetic, enthusiastic and possess a reasonable level of fitness
