Position Overview:


As a Global Travel Coordinator, you will be responsible for organising all aspects of corporate travel arrangements for the firm, using the preferred Travel Management Company (TMC). Your role will involve ensuring that all travel arrangements are made efficiently, cost-effectively, accurately and in accordance with company policies and procedures. You will work independently but as part of a local and global team.



  • Coordinate and book travel arrangements globally, including flights, accommodation, rail, and other necessary arrangements

  • Use the Squarepoint travel request form with the Office Management Service Desk

  • Screen travel requests to ensure enough detail and authorization is in place to complete the booking requirements

  • Keen eye for detail, i.e. spotting ‘out of policy’ travel requests

  • Research and compare prices, availability, and quality of travel options such as flights, hotels, and train tickets to secure the best rates and accommodation

  • Arrange travel through the online booking tool and TMC travel consultant teams

  • Ensure all travel arrangements are accurate, complete, and aligned with the traveller’s requirements

  • Manage travel invoices via the Workday Expense Management system

  • Assist employees in resolving any travel-related issues or emergencies, including flight cancellations and missed connections, etc. This may occur outside of business hours on the rare occasion


Required Qualifications:



  • Minimum of 2-4 years of travel-related work experience, preferably as an international travel consultant or travel coordinator

  • Knowledge of Online Booking Tools, and an understanding of the background of travel systems (GDS)

  • Strong customer service orientation

  • Experienced in using helpdesk software, i.e.. JIRA or Zendesk

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment with all levels of the organization

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a positive, friendly and enthusiastic approach but firm when required

  • Advanced Microsoft Outlook skills

  • Intermediate working knowledge of Excel and Word
