Job Description

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Finance Officer to drive timely payments and streamline financial operations. In this pivotal role, you’ll reconcile accounts, generate reports, and collaborate with departments to boost profitability. Key Responsibilities:

  • Process timely payments for creditors and expenses, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Reconcile payments with financial statements and maintain organized records.
  • Execute month-end procedures and generate insightful reports.
  • Support payroll and notify superannuation companies of team changes.
  • Conduct accurate cashiering and manage cash banking efficiently.
  • Assist with General Ledger reconciliations.
  • Provide coverage during team members' annual leave and tackle additional finance tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Business and/or Accounting.
  • Relevant previous experience as a Finance Officer or equivalent.
  • Proficient in financial and accounting procedures, policies, and systems, with advanced knowledge of Excel. Experience with Opera Cloud, PurchasePlus, and Sun.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide outstanding service and foster positive relationships
