Job Summary:

Seeking: An uber aggressive recent college grad who wants to cut their teeth in sales. If you were a college athlete or incredibly involved in collegiate activities, we want to talk with you!  

As the Field Sales Representative for Silipint, you will be responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets for your region. You will be responsible for ensuring all opportunities within your region are maximized to grow Silipint’s footprint and business revenue in the very best independent dealers across a multitude of channels. The channels include but are not exclusive to gift, souvenir, boutique, grocery, high-end housewares retailers, clothing, outdoor, and resorts (ski, beach, mountain, desert). Staff training, merchandising, providing customer service support while developing new opportunities are all important elements of the role. Working closely with the Director of Sales you will deliver exceptional results while working with a robust call-cycle and territory plan. You are experienced, well organized and have a can-do attitude. Your focus on results and desire to prioritize the most impactful activities will ensure that you are successful in this demanding and fast-paced performance-based role. You are a team player and roll your sleeves up to do whatever it takes to get the job done.

Responsibilities:
  • Maximize sales and market share.
  • Deliver company initiatives to execute channel distribution strategies.
  • Provide premium Silipint customer service support for our retail partners and customers including some head office functions.
  • Place orders in Salesforce CRM tool daily.
  • Maintain impeccable sales data, customer detail via Salesforce CRM tool.
  • Deliver exceptional staff training and in-store merchandising with all retail partners.
  • Work cross-functionally across the entire business as required.
  • Minimum of 30 quality sales calls per week, defined as in-person sales calls.
  • Follow up with emails, calls, texts daily and as needed.
  • Represent Silipint at local consumer and trade-related events.
  • Staff and attend relevant industry trade-show events, weekends and weekdays included.
  • Log all call activity in Salesforce CRM tool and report successes.
  • Willing to travel up to 75% of time (territory includes Southern California, Metro Las Vegas, Metro Phoenix, Northern Arizona).
Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher and an absolute “can-do attitude” that is positive and fun.
  • Experience with CRM tools and order management programs.
  • At least 2 years wholesale sales experience, preferably in housewares, hydration, premium goods, outdoor, sport but all industries considered.
  • Well organized and responsible with a hunger to succeed and grow your business – the more you sell the more you make.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task.
  • Understands and lives the Silipint brand, product, and core values.
  • Strong communicator and influencer. Highly collaborative with a team winning mentality.
  • Significant travel is required so we are after a real road warrior who wants to sell, travel, and make money.
  • Willing to follow a three-week travel cycle. A different zone should be covered each week via required rotation. Three weeks would be on the road and one at home for follow up.
