Job Summary
The Field Marketing Manager for Stevens Pass is responsible for bringing to life the resort brand strategy developed by the centralized brand marketing team and resort leadership, to enhance the guest experience. This is achieved through thoughtfully planned events and activations, partner integrations, in-resort communication and signage, guest-facing promotional material, creative production, go-to-market support, and website ownership. The Field Marketing Manager will be on the Resort Marketing Team, working cross-functionally to serve as the on-the-ground marketing representative at Stevens Pass. This person will be responsible for delivering results safely, on-time, and with executional excellence, in service of the guest experience.
This candidate will have a strong background as a Brand Generalist and as a self-starter, working across teams and stakeholders such as departments, agencies, community organizations and operational teams. This person will bring a willingness to learn and jump in on a range of projects. Flexibility, responsiveness and proactivity are crucial.
This is a 12-month salaried position, and this position is based in-resort (at Stevens Pass). Weekend and Holiday work are required.

Job Responsibilities

Develop, collaborate and execute events and activations that bring the resort brand to life. Develop a deep understanding of the market and the brand and foster cross-functional relationships to turn ideas into action. This candidate will lead the ideation and execution of events and activations that enhance the guest experience in meaningful ways. This includes collaborating with the centralized brand marketing team on event strategy and overseeing execution including staffing, contracts, signage, partnerships and coordination. This person will be managing complex, high-volume and rapidly changing information to bring solutions to problems and identify opportunities.

Execute partner integration on-mountain/in-resort in partnership with the Strategic Alliance team. The candidate will ideate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create opportunities and value for advertising partners at Stevens Pass. This includes delivering successful partner events, activations, signage and other deliverables that align with both Stevens Pass and the partner’s brand equities and goals.

Direct and execute in-resort messaging, signage and guest-facing promotional materials in and around the resort. This person will be responsible for ensuring brand cohesion and consistency across all guest touchpoints in the resort and ensuring the messages aid the guests in their experience. Key touchpoints include in-resort signage, digital apps and screens, and website communications.

Drive the promotion of the brand at the resort and in the community. This person will cultivate relationships with local organizations, the mountain division, and partners in the community to be the steward for the brand. Relationship management with leadership is a critical skill for success and once demonstrated, opportunities exist to contribute on the resort leadership team.
Job Requirements
- Four-year college degree with emphasis in marketing, business and/or communications preferred.
- 3-5 years of marketing, event, sales or other related experience
- Excellent stakeholder and cross-functional management. Ability to manage up and across.
- High degree of organization, attention to details and level of professional conduct. Self-starter, ambitious and multi-tasker
- Microsoft Office, Social Media channel familiarity and design skills are a plus
- English required with excellent language and writing skills.
The expected pay range is $74,100 - $75,000 + annual bonus. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
