Fall Mountain Bike Kid's Camp Counselor - for camps held at Kingdom Trails, Vermont

Prerequisites for applicants: 

  • Enjoy cycling/ proficient mountain biker
  • CPR/First Aid certification.*
  • Counselors MUST acquire a Kingdom Trails Membership

Time commitment: 

  • There are 3 camps:
    • KEAP Tuesday/Thursday Program: every Tuesday and Thursday September 5-October 31st, from 2:45-5:15pm
    • Newark Friday Program: 10/13, 10/20, 10/27 9:30am-11:30am
    • Concord Friday Program: 9/15, 9/29, 10/13, 10/27 12:00-2:00pm
  • You will also be required to attend an in-person orientation training with your local camp manager.

What the role entails:

  • Reporting to the local lead counselor and camp manager.
  • Working with another member of the team to run all aspects of camp based on our curriculum, which includes
  • Teaching individual skills modules
  • Running games

Leading skills application rides

  • Assisting the lead counselor at check in every day
  • Setting up and cleaning up every day
  • Reporting to your lead counselor about any group changes that need to be made
  • Ensuring a SAFE and fun environment for all

We ask that all applicants for any kid's camp counselor positions are fully vaccinated (including boosted) in order to maintain a safe environment.


Experience:

  • Childcare: 1 year (Preferred) - Not required for CIT's

License/Certification:

  • First Aid Certification (Preferred) - Not required for CIT's
  • CPR Certification (Preferred) - Not required for CIT's
