The Event Spa Group Sales Coordinator role aims to increase spa group bookings, detail social and corporate group events before arriving on the property and while a guest is on the property, conduct site inspections, and manage in-house social and spa groups.
This position will report directly to the Sales Manager and work closely on the property with the Spa Director, Spa Reservations Coordinators, and our Food and Beverage team.
This position will report directly to the Director of Sales and work closely on the property with the Spa Director, Spa Reservations Coordinator, Food and Beverage, Social Group Coordinator, and General Coordinator.
The ideal candidate should be able to do the following:
- Respond promptly to incoming day spa business opportunities in a positive and friendly manner. Day spa groups are any group with at least six or more guests.
- Ensure that all business is booked within resort parameters.
- Be highly organized and detailed oriented.
- Conduct property site inspections and give client presentations. Assist with site inspections for other sales Coordinators when needed.
- Create contracts and other related booking documentation as required. Manage and maintain client account files and tracks in the Sales platform.
- Prospect for new business – participate in local sales calls with the travel industry sales Coordinator, cold calling and contacting former clients to solicit new business and attend industry events/programs as needed.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Detailed events for spa and social groups and the social and corporate groups were turned over to include all food & beverage, set up, and audio-visual needs. Ensure proper amenities are sent to VIPs in groups. Ask appropriate questions of the clients and make suggestions to ensure the details meet the group and the resort’s needs.
- Create BEOs, group resumes, and communicate client needs to all resort departments. Ensure resort staff follows through on all requests.
- Greet clients at events to ensure outstanding service and follow up once complete with soliciting feedback and time to re-book.

A minimum of 2 years of resort or related experience is required.
