About the team:

The AllTrails marketing team is building a global, beloved outdoors brand. We launch and scale creative and performance-driven marketing levers to bring more people onto the AllTrails platform, and develop compelling angles to engage with and retain existing subscribers.

Job summary:

We’re seeking a driven E-Commerce Associate to join our team and help us scale the AllTrails Gear Shop, our e-commerce merchandise site. This is an exciting opportunity to help build the Gear Shop into a digital flagship for the AllTrails brand. The right candidate brings a strong understanding of e-commerce, merchandising, and branding. Responsibilities will include driving online sales and promoting brand awareness by playing a key role in our e-commerce product merchandising and marketing. The E-Commerce Associate will work closely with marketing and creative teams to develop and execute digital marketing strategies that drive revenue growth and increase customer engagement. This person is inspired by empowering consumers around the world to access the outdoors and become AllTrails advocates.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Supporting daily site merchandising updates based on inventory, marketing calendar, and key launches
  • Measuring, testing, and optimizing product sorts, content, and navigation to improve site conversion
  • ​​Analyzing and report on quantitative and qualitative insights (e-commerce metrics, customer data, market landscape) to identify trends and opportunities
  • Assisting with producing monthly merchandise performance review focusing on recent campaign impact, product sell-through, and product conversion performance
  • Supporting the demand planning process by translating performance and market signals into recommendations for purchasing adjustments
  • Collaborating with warehouse team to ensure product availability, pricing accuracy, and timely product availability and order fulfillment
  • Assisting in identifying and partnering with vendors and collaboration partners to develop products worthy of the AllTrails brand
  • Writing campaign creative briefs, and collaborating with creative team to develop compelling merchandising themes, engaging content and clear messaging for multi-channel digital marketing campaigns
  • Working with vendors, creative, marketing, and site teams to plan and produce content for product launches, seasonal campaigns, and sales
  • Driving go-to-market site strategy for campaigns and executing launches
  • Collaborating with site developers to identify and implements improvements to UX and site performance, and fix bugs
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, related field or relevant experience
  • 2+ years of experience in e-commerce and digital marketing
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce metrics
  • Experience with Shopify
  • Ideal candidate is organized enough to manage online catalog and creative enough to make campaigns come to life to drive sales
  • Experience with Google Analytics and other web analytics tools
  • Proficient in Excel with strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A passion for outdoors apparel and gear
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • US work authorization required

A successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on various factors such as skills, experience, training and credentials, as well as other business purposes or needs.  It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range of their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the factors and circumstances of each case.
