Position Summary
Responsible for lead generation sales via A&K website utilizing effective online sales communication techniques.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
• Maintain a high level of familiarity with the Abercrombie & Kent website and products to provide a positive visitor experience
• Use echat sales techniques to generate sales leads and meet monthly echat booking goals using echat software
• Collaborate with Marketing and Web team to review trends or report web issues
• Manage website inquiries and handle as appropriate or forward to correct department via CRM
• Maintain up to date knowledge of current product offerings and destinations by attending training/product briefing sessions
• Assist guests/Travel Advisors as necessary
• Assist with special projects or related duties as needed
Skills and Abilities
• Intermediate typing skills preferred - accuracy is a must
• Excellent written communication skills
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft products – Word and Excel
• Able to navigate the A&K website in a proficient manner
• Knowledge of world geography
• Work in a team environment
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
Education and Experience
• Minimum two years relevant travel industry experience preferred
• High School diploma required
• Previous sales experience preferred
