JOB TITLE: Director of Growth (Hybrid- in office 1-3 days/week)

SUMMARY:
The Director of Growth is a key member of the Topo Designs leadership team and primary creator and leader of our digital growth & performance marketing. As an executive and leader, the Director of Growth will be accountable for the eCommerce and Performance Marketing strategy, eCommerce sales and P&L, and relationship management internally and externally for our main brand site and any chosen digital domains and partners that comprise digital revenue for Topo Designs. This role will be responsible for delivering sales through commercially driven strategies, online marketing, merchandising, user experience, product development, and site operations. The Director will build the strategy and the team responsible for the delivering against day-to-day online operations relating to ecommerce with oversight responsibility for operating metrics and key performance drivers such as conversion, qualified trac and opt-ins, new buyers, repeat buyers, sales, average order size, units per order & lifetime value (LTV).
SALARY RANGE: $100-140K with fringe benefits up to another $5,000-8,000.

Experience/Education Requirements:
● B.A. or B.S. degree in Business, eCommerce, Marketing, Product Strategy, or related field of study.
● Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related field preferred
● At least 5 years of progressive digital growth experience and proven track record of performance marketing experience.

The Director will work across Topo Designs Leadership teams (Brand Experience, Creative, Sales, Operations, Finance) to create a branded online experience that is not only representative of the customer’s online experience, but takes that engagement to the next level by anticipating the needs and exceeding the expectations of a multi-channel consumer. This leadership role will also interface with the Brand and Topo merchandising teams to understand upcoming product innovations, trends, collaborations and services so that they may be thoughtfully integrated into the online launch processes as they are unveiled to the marketplace. Experience and ability to develop and drive Digital Marketing initiatives to deepen customer engagement and integrate overall brand digital strategies is a must.
Responsibilities and Duties:
● Oversee total brand site P&L; achieve top line and bottom line results
● Manage and optimize the performance advertising and promotions budget/spend for onsite marketing & promotional programs
● Develop digital product strategy, roadmap, and work plans to execute an innovative and differentiated consumer experience across all touchpoints
● Build seasonal ecommerce strategy for key shopping moments and necessary sales mitigations, ensure all projects support the brand site strategy and contribute to the brand site growth
● Build engineering, UX, and eCommerce operations teams to fully concept, develop, launch, and refine digital products
● Create a dynamic, high-performance digital culture to attract, retain and motivate talent
● Develop and implement seasonal online marketing calendars that link sales and marketing initiatives across eCommerce channels
● Responsible for developing and managing Customer Acquisition and Retention strategies
● Develop innovative marketing and sales programs, empowering the team to test & learn by measuring program effectiveness, providing insights on how to optimize in future. Lead analysis of all programs and establish programs to drive continuous improvement
● Partner and collaborate with Topo Brand Marketing Leadership to maximize DTC monetization
● Research industry trends, seeking opportunities to bridge gaps in business objectives and push business forward
● Provide leadership and direction to a team on all aspects of the brand online and effectively manage workload, vendors, and all projects. Initiate strategic enhancements/upgrades with business systems and workflow that will improve process and eciency.
● Oversee NA online P&L and budget (Program development, Promotions, Retailer sites, Email and Marketing, Search and Aliate) to maximize opportunities and ROI
● Provide post-program ROI analysis, make recommendations based on results to increase sales, opt-ins, Average Order Size (AOS), Average Unit Sale (AUS), and repeat purchases
● Develop, implement, and manage KPIs for building a vibrant digital business in partnership with planning and finance teams
● Communicate reporting and analysis with key stakeholders to share pertinent learnings from customer and customer data, across brand and geography dimensions when appropriate
● Ensure brand experience and consistency in all digital products from planning through design, build, test, and launch phases
● Develop and manage strategic partner and outsourcing agency relationships to efficiently and effectively launch and scale solutions
● Deliver superior user-focused digital products to drive business growth
