Assist in all aspects of arranging corporate travel within Cargojet with a focus on crew travel.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Track non-refundable tickets.
Ensure Cargojet travel policies are followed.
Book airline tickets, car rentals and hotels for Cargojet Crew, Managers, Executives and Maintenance.
Reconcile corporate credit card statements.
Manage the MYID travel program.
Communicate monthly crew hotel & transportation requirements with all hotel & transportation partners as & when required.
Ensure changes affecting hotels, ground transport suppliers or other vendors are sent in a timely manner and recorded for reporting and accounting purposes as & when required.
Provide credit card authorizations to ad hoc hotels and/or vendors where third-party billing is required as & when required.
Monthly reconciliation of hotel and ground Transport/Taxi invoices.
Perform other travel duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
1-2 years’ experience as a travel consultant or experience in airline travel services.
College diploma in Travel and Tourism and or relative experience.
Hands on experience with GDS such as Sabre/Apollo.
Full understanding of airline rules and fares.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Must be willing to work evenings and extended hours, if required.
Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize and perform well under multiple deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
